Vegan Blueberry Smoothie Recipe - Test Your Intolerance

Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

We all add healthy smoothies to our diets because they’re nutrient-dense, jam-packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, have a decent amount of fibre and are a great way to keep yourself hydrated. You can prepare a smoothie in seconds, so they’re convenient, as well as being a tasty way to get your daily fruits and veggies in.

Smoothies are versatile too and can serve various needs – from warding off the hunger pangs until lunchtime to giving you an energising mid-afternoon boost, or even using them to slim down and detox. You can tailor your smoothies to suit your needs.

This smoothie is a great balance between sweet and filling. It’s packed with energy, healthy fats and slow-acting carbs from those oats – it’s a well-balanced recipe you can enjoy at breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 25g frozen blueberries
  • 25g rolled oats, raw
  • 40g soaked cashews
  • 375ml unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  1. First, soak your cashews for at least 20 minutes (or overnight in the fridge).
  2. Add all of the ingredients to your blender cup.
  3. Blend until completely smooth and enjoy!

If your current blender can’t quite handle shredding your nuts and oats smoothly enough, we recommend getting a NutriBullet. It never fails to blast through even the toughest ingredients to deliver refreshingly smooth drink every time.

You can replace the Almond milk with your preferred milk variety if you’re intolerant or allergic to them. As for the cashews, feel free to experiment by replacing them with other nuts or seeds to keep that fat content up.

If you prefer a thicker smoothie or are looking to bulk up the calorie content, you can increase the cashews and oats to your taste. However, you have your smoothie if you do experiment with new ingredients, be sure that you aren’t intolerant or allergic to any of those foods first. If you’re unsure, you can get a definitive answer through intolerance and allergy testing.

As we recommend in your bioresonance sensitivity report, increasing your vitamins and minerals is important, and the best way to do that is by adding fresh fruits, vegetables and grains into your diet. However, it’s still easy to be deficient; two people can eat the same size orange, one will get a huge dose of vitamin C, the other will get a small amount. Everyone is different.

We have two ways to help you increase those vital vitamins, and the first is by making the delicious smoothie above. But how can you do that? The Magic Bullet smoothie maker from High Street TV is the perfect kitchen appliance as it is cheap and reliable. It blends, chops, mixes, whips, dices and grinds, with a 10,000 RPM speed. We’ve found it easy to clean and you just pop all of the ingredients in and away you go. When you’re ready for the vitamin boost, use code ‘NEXTD’ for FREE next day delivery.

Alternatively, you can pop a MultiVitality Gold from HealthSpa, the ultimate full-body boost. It contains the perfect balance needed for health and vitality, and works well for men and women. It’s suitable for vegetarians and the team at Test Your Intolerance have noticed a definite improvement when adding one-a-day into their diet. Targeting your heart, eyes, immune system, teeth, skin and brain, it’s a multi-talented, multifaceted, multivitamin!
